Why such a firm policy? 

Good question! Excellent question!  We are a start-up, thus we do not have deep pockets or a breadth of inventory on-hand.  Importantly, we are not set up for the e-com "showroom-purchase hack".  Not cool.  That ties up valuable inventory and messes with our heads.

EXCHANGE PROCEDURE - SITE DIRECT PURCHASES

RedCar 7 / RedCar Seven Co. does not issue original-payment tender refunds, store credits, or alternate style "swaps".   We will size-exchange item(s), after we receive and inspect your return-shipped item.  

Prior to any exchange transactions, please contact us for a MERCHANDISE EXCHANGE AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.  Return-shipping charges are the customer's responsibility, and are not reimbursed or refunded. If a pre-authorized return-shipment does not reach us by the end of the 14th day from order delivery confirmation to you, we cannot honor any exchange requests.  Packages will be returned to you, unopened.

 

DAMAGED SHIPPING CONTAINERS EFFECTING MERCHANDISE

Should you receive a damaged or improperly sealed package due to the fault of shipping carrier, please photograph the unopened package and contact us via email at info@redcar7.com to obtain a MERCHANDISE LIABILITY CLAIM NUMBER.  If the package has been opened, evident by damage to the packing slip that is placed between folds or box flaps upon sealing, we cannot offer a merchandise exchange.

 

 

Shipping Policies

ORDERS GENERALLY BEGIN "PROCESSING" ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY AND  ORDERS TYPICALLY SHIP WITHIN 1-4 BUSINESS DAYS. PLEASE ALLOW 2 EXTRA PROCESSING DAYS FOR HOLIDAYS.  AS STATED, ORDERS ARE PROCESSED WITHIN 1-4 BUSINESS DAYS-- THIS MEANS ORDERS PLACED ON THURSDAY OR FRIDAY MAY BE SHIPPED- ON AVERAGE- ON TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK, PROVIDED THERE ARE NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS AFTER THE WEEKEND DAYS, AS WELL.  

WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS 
ORDERS PLACED FRIDAY-SUNDAY WILL NOT BEGIN TO PROCESS UNTIL THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY. ONCE AN ORDER IS PLACED WE ARE UNABLE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE ORDER, PLEASE REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE PLACING, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A CHANGE TO YOUR ORDER PLEASE CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOUR ORDER WILL NEED TO BE CANCELLED.

RATES ARE CALCULATED BY THE WEIGHT OF THE PACKAGE AND THE LOCATION IT IS BEING SHIPPED TO.

     

    STANDARD DELIVERY
    STANDARD DELIVERY USUALLY ARRIVES WITHIN 3-7 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE SHIPPED DATE, EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS.PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 24 HOURS FOR TRACKING TO BE UPDATED WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL

     

      • STANDARD DELIVERY TO APO/FPO ADDRESSES MAY TAKE LONGER TO BE DELIVERED THAN THE STANDARD SHIPPED DATE, EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS.
      • STANDARD INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING USUALLY ARRIVES WITHIN 7-20 BUSINESS DAYS, NOT INCLUDING WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS, UP TO 30 BUSINESS DAYS DEPENDING ON CUSTOMS FROM THE SHIPPED DATE.

     

    We are not liable for loss or theft of delivered packages, once tracked-shipments are confirmed "as delivered" to the shipping address-- via carrier's tracking number notification.  We can ship to any address, including PO, FPO, and military mailbox 

    Sales Tax: With the exception of orders placed and shipped within the State of California, and the County and City of Los Angeles, we do not collect or charge sales tax.  

    We ship within the continental United States to resident, business and PO box addresses. Shipment is via USPS or UPS Ground, unless otherwise specified.  Allow up to 7-10 days for delivery within the continental United States. 

    At this time, we do NOT ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Guam. 

    Customers are notified via email when orders ship, and a tracking number is provided.  Order shipment packages will contain either a packing slip or copy of purchase-order, to serve as your payment receipt.

    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

    At this time, we ship to select countries outside the United States.  When placing your order, you will be notified whether or not your country is included in our shipping formulary. 

    For international shipping, please allow 5 business days for your order to process.  Fraud analysis and additional screenings are required, so please allow extended order-approval time. We ship via USPS, UPS, or DHL.  International orders may take up to 14 days to arrive.  RedCar 7 does not anticipate or include customs taxes, tariffs, or your nation's own tax code in our pricing or shipping fees. 

    "GIFT" PURCHASE LABELLING

    It is a violation of federal, state, and United States export laws for us to label your order shipment as a gift in order to avoid country-tax, customs, or tariffs.  

    Customers are notified via email when orders ship, and a tracking number is provided.  Order shipment packages will contain either a packing slip or copy of purchase-order, to serve as your payment receipt.

    We are not responsible for loss or theft of delivered packages, once tracked-shipments are confirmed "delivered" to the shipping address.

     

     

    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ZONES AND RATES

    Any address outside of the United States of America is recognized as "international" by the USPS, and shipping rates are charged accordingly.  This includes Canada and Mexico.   Unfortunately, we have no way of estimating VAT, customs/duties, or local taxes; nor can we communicate with customs or border officials to track or release shipments.
